GD32 ARM Cortex-M3 Microcontrollers
GD32® is a new 32-bit high performance, low power consumption universal microcontroller family powered by the ARM® Cortex®-M3 RISC core, which targeted at various MCU application areas. GD32® family integrates features to simplify system design and provide customers wide range of comprehensive and superior cost effective MCU portfolios with proven technology and great innovation. Building on GigaDevice advanced patented “gFlash” memory technology and mass production experiences, it provides new form of MCUs which offers customer high functionality and quality. GD32® MCU incorporates the 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M3 processor core operating at 108 MHz max frequency with Flash accesses zero wait states to obtain maximum efficiency. It provides up to 3024 KB on-chip Flash memory and up to 96 KB SRAM memory. An extensive range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals connected to two APB buses. GD32 ARM Cortex-M4 Microcontrollers

The GD32F4 device belongs to the performance line of GD32 MCU Family. It is a new 32-bit general-purpose microcontroller based on the ARM® Cortex®-M4 RISC core with best cost-performance ratio in terms of enhanced processing capacity, reduced power consumption and peripheral set.
The Cortex®-M4 core features a Floating Point Unit (FPU) that accelerates single precision floating point math operations and supports all ARM® single precision instructions and data types. It implements a full set of DSP instructions to address digital signal control markets that demand an efficient, easy-to-use blend of control and signal processing capabilities. It also provides a Memory Protection Unit (MPU) and powerful trace technology for enhanced application security and advanced debug support.

GD32 ARM Cortex-M23 Microcontrollers
The GD32E23x device belongs to the value line of GD32 MCU family. It is a new 32-bit general-purpose microcontroller based on the ARM® Cortex®-M23 core. The Cortex-M23 processor is an energy-efficient processor with a very low gate count. It is intended to be used for microcontroller and deeply embedded applications that require an area-optimized processor. The processor delivers high energy efficiency through a small but powerful instruction set and extensively optimized design, providing high-end processing hardware including a single-cycle multiplier and a 17-cycle divider.
The GD32E23x device incorporates the ARM® Cortex®-M23 32-bit processor core operating at up to 72 MHz frequency with Flash accesses of 0~2 wait states to obtain maximum efficiency. It provides up to 64 KB embedded Flash memory and up to 8 KB SRAM memory. An extensive range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals are connected to two APB buses. The devices offer one 12-bit ADC and one comparator, up to five general 16-bit timers, a basic timer, a PWM advanced timer, as well as standard and advanced communication interfaces: up to two SPIs, two I2Cs, two USARTs, and an I2S.
The device operates from a 1.8 to 3.6 V power supply and is available in -40 to +85°C temperature range. GD32 ARM Cortex-M33 Microcontrollers
The GD32E5 series is based on the Arm® Cortex®-M33 core from the latest Armv8-M architecture. System frequency supports up to 180MHz, includes a built-in hardware multiplier/divider, DSP instruction set and single-precision floating-point unit (FPU).
It is also equipped with a new hardware trigonometric math unit (TMU) that supports vector, sine and cosine, exponent, square root, common logarithm and other mathematical trigonometric operations, reducing the burden on the CPU and improving the processing efficiency. Additionally, it has a built-in memory protection unit (MPU) for task isolation, improving system’s reliability.
The devices operate from a 1.7V to 3.6 V power supply, the I/O port can support 5V voltage levels and are available in –40°C to +85°C temperature range.
