SONY IMX183 is a diagonal 15.86mm (type 1/2.3) CMOS image sensor with a square pixel array and 20.48M effective pixels. It is available in monochrome (IMX183CLK) and in color (IMX183CQK). It is possible to output the signals of 20.48M effective pixels with high definition for shooting still picture because of the 12-bit digital output. It realizes 12-bit digital output for shoting high-speed and high-definition moving pictures by horizontal and vertical addition and subsampling. It achieves high sensitivity and low dark current. It has an electronic shutter function with variable storage time.
